One of the most creative and fun party games to emerge in recent years, DixIt (pronounced en francais as "dis-eet") is a game of bluffing, subtle communication, and imagination.
Each player takes a turn as the storyteller, in which they choose a picture card from their hand, play it face down, and then tell a short story about it. The story can be one word, it can be sentence. It can even be a whistled tune.
Each other player must choose an image from their own hand that matches the story as best as they can. All the submitted cards are shuffled, and then the players view them all and guess which card was the original storyteller's.
Use your imagination to interpret the amazing artwork on these cards (the images alone are worth buying the game for) and try to predict what your friends and family are thinking.
3-6 players recommended, but variants allow play for up to 8 people. An excellent game to pull out after dinner.
