This expansion must be played with Power Grid and is compatible with the map expansions. The Power Plan expansions are a new set of power plant cards which may be used in several ways:
1) use the new deck instead of the original
2) use both decks, but just one of each number, chosen randomely
3) use the original deck, adding the larger numbered plants from the new deck
4) customize your own power plant deck using the two decks.
